Billy Krakower is a nationally recognized educator and author. ​​Currently, he serves as a teacher at Beatrice Gilmore Elementary School in the Woodland Park Public School District in New Jersey. For the past ten years, Billy has served his students as a Special Education Teacher, in both Inclusion and resource room settings. Billy has become well known for leveraging a myriad of technology tools, to support higher level learning opportunities, for all students, particularly those most in need.

A well known speaker, Billy has spoken at various national and regional events including the National Principal’s Conference 2017, Empower17, ASCD16, ISTE 2015, ISTE2014, New Jersey Association of School Administrators, Techspo, New Jersey Association of Educational Technology Annual Conference, Edscape, NJEA, Teacher Conference, among others. Although Billy speaks on a variety of topics and issues, common ones include: Connecting Beyond the Classroom, Twitter & You, Tech Tools to use for the PARCC, Google Hangouts, Edmodo, and The Science Behind a Mystery Location Call.

Billy is also one of the co-moderators for both #njed (New Jersey Educators) & #satchat (School Leaders) chats. He is a member of the NJASCD Executive Board where he serves as the Technology Committee Chair. As an author, Billy co-written five books, "Connecting Your Students with The World," "Using Technology to Engage Students with Learning Disabilities," "140 Twitter Tips for Educators,” “Hacking Google for Education,” and "Getting Started with STEAM: A Practical Approach for the K - 8 Classroom."
